Funding the Arts

Artists are driven by their passion to create works that form tangible expressions of the human condition. The artist’s struggle is dual. First, there is the pursuit of creating authentic and unique creative works, and then there is the challenge to find the means to continue creating. Among Miami’s art pioneers, Martin Margulies has been relentless in his contributions to the contemporary art scene. Though he worked professionally as a real estate developer,  Margulies has collected art for over 30 years. In 1991, he founded the Warehouse, a non-profit organization hosted in a 45,000 square foot warehouse, to house his vast art collection. Art Dubai

The first edition of the Art Dubai international art fair was held in 2007. Today, it is a focal point of the international art community. The notable fair is a leader in the markets of the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
